Eddie Landenberger, Principal and Broker

Eddie, a Minnesota native, began his career in marine engineering and intermodal container terminal design at Parsons Brinckerhoff in New York City. Since 2005, he chose a geographic-based approach to commercial real estate development and sales focused primarily in the South Minneapolis market; where he completed urban infill projects across many asset classes including industrial, office, retail, business incubator and multi-family.  In addition to real estate, Eddie spent several years in business brokering and economic development.  Eddie currently serves as Vice President of the Land Bank Twin Cities, where he provides strategy and business plan development and manages a strategic acquisition portfolio of properties.


Merrie Sjogren, Principal

For the last 15 years, Merrie has been active in urban planning and private real estate development in the Twin Cities. From project management and entitlement work to finance, Merrie has had the privilege to learn from some of the best local development companies in our market.  In 2015, Merrie joined her colleagues to launch ASSEMBLY.  

Merrie specializes in feasibility and financial analysis focused on dispositions, repositions and urban infill projects.  Most recently, Merrie has been providing comprehensive analysis for clients taking advantage of the market upswing to separate business interests from owned real estate assets.


Andrew Babula, Associate

Andrew's professional profile combines management consulting with commercial real estate strategy and development. Over the past 15 years Andrew led portfolio planning, retail and office strategy, financial analysis and development for both Fortune 50 companies and boutique real estate firms.  His career began in management consulting with McKinsey & Company, where he established a solid foundation in analysis, business management, and strategy.  After completing his MBA at Yale, Andrew managed strategy and development for Target Corporation, including oversight of a 200-acre corporate campus expansion, new store growth, and 600,000 square feet of domestic and international leases.  After Target, Andrew led acquisitions and development for a boutique Minneapolis area firm focused on adaptive reuse of office, retail and multi-family properties.  Andrew also spent five years as head of real estate planning at UnitedHealth Group, where he developed strategies to optimize the portfolio, driving out costs and supporting business requirements.

Scott Anderson, Associate

Scott Anderson combines a background in nonprofit management with real estate development consulting, and brings his clients both project management services and business management support.  Scott's recent projects have been primarily located in North Minneapolis and include Commons at Penn, a 47-unit mixed-use apartment and grocery store development by former NBA player Devean George.  Whether it's acquisition, retail leasing, disposition, or project management services, Scott is a trusted partner.
