Merrie Sjogren 

Trained in market research and urban planning, Merrie was drawn to real estate development out of graduate school. Over the last 2 decades, Merrie has had the privilege to learn from some of the best local development companies in our market, gaining experience in project management, entitlement work, and finance. Today she specializes in off-market site selection, feasibility and financial analysis focused on business strategy. Merrie is adept at negotiating on her clients’ behalf to align their real estate investments with their business goals. She is a co-founder of WIRED UP (Women in Real Estate Development) and sponsors the Urban Land Institute's Real Estate Diversity Initiative (REDi).

Eddie Landenberger 

A Minnesota native, Eddie Landenberger began his career in marine engineering and intermodal container terminal design at Parsons Brinckerhoff in New York City. Since 2005, he has developed a commercial real estate practice focused primarily on industrial, office, retail, business incubator, and multi-family projects in the Twin Cities market. In addition to real estate, Eddie spent several years in business brokering and economic development. Eddie also serves as vice president of the Land Bank Twin Cities, where he provides strategy, develops business plans, and manages a strategic acquisition portfolio.

Nick Peterson

Nick Peterson joined ASSEMBLY in 2018 bringing a wealth of experience in sales and leasing to the team. Nick has facilitated over 250 commercial real estate transactions with a total consideration in excess of $250 million. Nick's hard work and focus have proved indispensable to his clients and partners over the last 15 years. This dedication has garnered Nick the recognition of his peers when he was awarded the 2008 MNCAR Industrial Transaction of the Year. He was also named a CoStar Group 2008 Power Broker based on 2008 industrial leasing activity.

Beth Pfeifer

Educated as an architect, Beth has been fascinated with design and real estate development since she was a little girl dreaming of rehabbing historic homes in Duluth, MN. Beth brings a wealth of experience to ASSEMBLY, having spent 20 years in architecture, private development and the public sector. Beth specializes in the development of multi-family housing, mixed-use, and commercial properties. Her ability to think strategically through all aspects of the development process—from acquisition through design, entitlements, financing, construction, and occupancy—make her an asset to any business or owner considering a development project. Beth is former board chair of Transit for Livable Communities & St. Paul Smart Trips, and former board member of the American Institute of Architects Minnesota. She participates in WIRED UP, Urban Land Institute, Lambda Alpha International, and LEED AP.

Ben VinZant

Prior to joining ASSEMBLY, Ben VinZant was a partner and head of development for a midwest restaurant group. During this time, he developed 12 restaurants in 8 markets. From site selection, lease negotiation and construction management to brand creation and operating systems, Ben understands the many hats an entrepreneur must wear. This experience allows him to be a great asset in making his client’s project a success. In addition to restaurants, Ben has developed multiple low-income and multi-family housing projects. At ASSEMBLY, Ben specializes in off-market site analysis, market research and tenant representation.

James Brown

James is a dedicated advocate for business owners and independent commercial property owners.  His experience as a local restaurant owner and commercial General Contractor are a great addition to the Assembly team.  James has been a commercial property developer and commercial property manager for the last eleven years.  His expertise is in off market acquisitions, hospitality site searches, and property management.

Sara Mosman

Sara started her career in property management in the Twin Cities, and later southern Minnesota, where she gained experience with a variety of portfolios, including office, medical, industrial, and retail buildings, as well as condominium HOA management. With her background, Sara brings an understanding of the day-to-day operations of commercial buildings, budgeting and capital improvement planning, vendor management and negotiation, and project management insight to her clients. Since college, Sara has been drawn to commercial real estate and development, with specific interests in sustainability and wellness in the built environment. She loves working with clients to understand their goals and dreams and helping bring those to life.
